Michel Liguor Is a Filmmaker from the province of Naples. His creative journey begins spontaneously and suddenly after a trip along the Italian peninsula riding a Vespa 50, in company with his brother and with the support of a Go pro.

Autodidact, Liguori immediately directed his interest towards the visual documentation of the realities around him. The first subjects of his work are deeply rooted in the culture of his land: the sounds of the street, the people who animate it with their simple but dense lives, the popular festivals and folk traditions that mark the rhythm of life in southern Italy.

His narrative style is raw and authentic, but always imbued with a strong sensitivity. The faces and stories that emerge from his videos and photographs convey a deep emotional charge, whether they are marked by joy or suffused with suffering. Liguori prefers to tell what he knows intimately, exploring stories of people and places often on the fringes of society. His works combine the hardness of reality with a poetic delicacy, offering dignity and strength to his subjects through a sincere and powerful image.

Over the years, his distinctive approach has led him to spread across different creative fields. After coming to the production of music videos, he started to make his mark in the production of fashion films and in the field of fashion, collaborating with international brands and magazines. In both areas, Liguori has managed to blend his personal vision with the requirements of the business environment while maintaining a strong artistic footprint.

For his work he uses a mix of modern and vintage styles, alternating digital and analog cameras such as the Super 8, VHS and 35mm.

Michel Liguori currently lives and works between Italy and Paris, continuing to explore new forms of visual expression.
